Ephemera of the Submerged Rail

by Elias Vane

In a city where the subway tunnels have begun to fold into alternate timelines, a weary transit archivist discovers a ticket dated for a station that ceased existing forty years ago. He begins a subterranean journey to find the departure point for a life he never lived, all while the tunnel walls start weeping liquid memories.
